I find it funny how "Executive Producer" sounds bigger than "Producer", but the former has less involvement than the latter.

WTF does "Executive Producer" even mean anyway? It just seems like they add big name filmmakers for the sake of bringing people's attention. Like Danny DeVito in Pulp Fiction.

An executive producer essentially does most of the things an actual producer does, while also doing less of the practical work, getting less paid, but still getting some of the credit's income.
For example:
A producer deals with the financial aspect, figures out the budget, pays for the film, follows the entire movie's progress, makes sure everything is consistent, and deals with every major aspect, in that sense.
An exectuive producer also pays for the film, also follows its progress, but in a way smaller sense, and doesn't contribute to anything, neither being in controll of anything. Meaning: If the executive producer wants something changed/added, they need to go the actual producer to get it done; The producer himself doesn't.
It's basically like the difference between a runner and an assistant. Both of them deal with the same stuff, but in different aspects.

Actually, Danny DeVito is really involved with the films he produces, but I see your point.

Fun fact: One of the Coen brothers went to the same film school as Scorsese and Oliver stone.
That, and George Lucas didn't go to film school as a director: He went there as a film editor.

Fun Fact: Quentin Tarantino dropped out of high school at 9th grade because he felt he could teach himself more than the school system could teach him.

That's true. I've read that and seen him mention it before, too.
Fun fact: After dropping out of school, Tarantino got his first job at a porn video store at age 16, until he would later work in a video rental store for 5 years straight.

While you guys probably don't, I'll ask, anyway: Do any of you know where to buy a Canon EOS Lens on 50mm with a 1.4 F-stop? I've only found one with an F-Stop at 1.8, but I'll need a better F-Stop that fits the ND filters I'm buying.

That's quite cheap for such a lens, actually.
Some lenses can be over 1200$ on their own.
