They made a better Marvel movie than Marvel.

Well, they own the movie rights anyway. Marvel still owns the comics and merchandising rights to Deadpool.

I agree, though. I don't think Disney/Marvel couldn't have done a better job with Deadpool. It's kinda strange, though. Deadpool felt more like a Marvel movie than The Avengers/MCU films, lol!

Star Wars Force Awakens 5/10
Just felt like the plot of Episode 4 recycled, didn't even understand why they were Rebels when the Republic is in command, wouldn't the first Order be the rebels? Pretty meh movie tbh.

TFA is pretty alright.

It's nowhere near the originals, but it's at least more Star Wars-ish then the prequels.

A lot of people consider The Force Awakens better than Return of the Jedi. I have to re-watch the film to see if my feelings towards it has changed.

Return of the Jedi has actual character arcs with the main character, along with an ending that isn't a cop-out cliché, it doesn't rip-off the first movie's entire beat, its story doesn't exist merely due to conviniences that are totally out-of-place, it is one of the few good endings to a trilogy, it serves a purpose in the main story rather than just endlessly prolonging it, it has a nice blend of natural humor with tense moments rather than being a joke after joke with a ridiculous cop-out of a cliché'd fight scene, etc.

No. I can perfectly understand people complaints with The Force Awakens. Except for the whole Mary Sue thing and how the story is very similar to the original. I mean, no one complains that the story in Creed is very much like the one from Rocky.

I just watched Spectre the other day, and thought it was just alright. It's much better than Quantum of Solace, but doesn't even close to Skyfall or Casino Royale. I also thought that the last third of the film felt a bit rushed, and the ending was just ehhh. And this is supposed to be Daniel Craig's last Bond film, really? Because that film could have been a lot better. Not bad by any means, and I certainly had some fun with the movie. But, it felt very underwhelming to some of the previous Bond films of the past.

Sicario

Holy shit, this movie was fucking amazing! You could just feel the tense atmosphere of the film and what went down during those scenes, and my god was the score thrilling! DSP2 Great acting as well. Shame it only got 1 Oscar nomination, because this movie was fucking great. Josh Brolin, Emily Blunt, and Benicio del Toro were all great in the film. Especially Benicio del Toro, he fucking stole the show in this film. There's rumors of a sequel being made that centers around del Toro's character, and I would love to see that. Especially since the film kinda ends on an open note.

i knew what they were doing but i was still surprised they were doing it, some of the dialogue is word for word as well. Whole fucking episode was amazing, especially the whole ending segment.

After how shit Jessica Jones and Man of Steel were I really didn't expect this to be so good. And it's a great TV show regardless, unlike stuff like Flash and Arrow which are good for capeshit shows.

Watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower again a couple of times, and it grew on me. I still feel that some of the characters are kinda shallow, but at least they are likable. I understand why a lot of people love this film now. I give the film a 7.5/10.
