Noragami 7.5/10 Pretty decent series. Although, I wasn't in love with all the things that happened in the show or the main character, I still enjoyed it regardless. Could use a second season though to really help it out, in terms of the show's quality.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 9/10

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig 10/10

GITS is easily one of my favorite animes, with it having amazing story elements and a plot that's intriguing, philosophical, and makes you think to fully understand it. It is also one of the best sci-fi anime's, and even one of the best sci-fi TV show's in general. Its dialogue is some of the most intelligent dialogue that I have ever heard from a TV show. It feels like an anime version of a really great live-action law enforcement show. The characters are all amazing, likeable, and have an interesting back story. Motoko is also one of the best female protagonists in all of anime. Can't wait to watch some more GITS animated material, starting next with Solid State Society.

Darker than Black season 1, 2 & OVA - 8/10

First season (26 episodes) is a bit slow at the start but picks up later on. Second season is definitely better but shoter (12 episodes) and the OVA (4 episodes) is a nice explanation on what happen between season one and two.

Interesting, people in general seem to hate the second season for the drastic change of style. I liked the new style as well as the old one, it's just the ending of the second season that makes me want to kill something. How not to end a show 101.

Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryōuiki no Déjà vu (Burdened Domain of Déjà Vu) 10/10

An outstanding way to end the Steins;Gate anime series. The movie isn't very long, clocking in at around 90 minutes, so fans of the show will be able to finish this in one viewing. This movie is definitely the right way to end a masterful anime adaptation of a visual-novel, which I have heard was pretty great on its own right. I loved the reversal of the role of the main characters from the TV series and how it let the viewers experience what actually happened after the TV series ended. I also liked
Spoiler:
The only downer is that this movie is only available in Japanese, so you'll have to watch it subbed. Currently, FUNimation owns the licensing rights to the film, so expect an English Dub for this movie in the near future. Overall, I absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed it. This makes Steins;Gate one of my favorite animated TV shows of all-time, and one of my favorite TV Shows of all-time. Just simply fantastic.

TL;DR This movie is amazing and worth your time if you were/are a fan of the Steins;Gate series. I know people may disagree with me, but whatever. Razz

Trigun 9/10 I don't really need to say a lot about this. Most of the things said over the years about Trigun swaying people to watch this show, have already been said. It's a true anime classic. It may take awhile to really get into this show, but it's definitely worth watching.

Trigun: Badlands Rumble 8/10 Felt kinda short and ended pretty abruptly. But, the art-style was cool as hell and I liked the action scenes in the movie. The plot-twist near the end was a nice surprise, and added some depth to the story. Judging this primarily as an anime film that's based and spun-off from a TV show, that doesn't advance the main plot at all and takes place between episodes of the series, it's pretty great. I'm just glad Madhouse animated new "Trigun" related material, since we'll probably never see Trigun: Maximum manga animated.

Parasyte: The Maxim 10/10

Last episode was a couple days ago. An absolute masterpiece of an anime. Everyone who considers themselves an anime fan must see this show.

Aldnoah Zero First Season 8.5/10, Second season 3/10
This show started out strong with great actions, a great backstory, a great concept, and of course a soundtrack by the legendary Hiroyuki Sawano, but gradually lost it's momentum and the ending was a piece of shit that made no sense. I don't mean it was confusing or ambiguous like the first season finale it was just a really fucking stupid ending that killed the show for me. I would recommend watching the first season and then dropping it.

Going to dump quite a few reviews here. Three of these shows I had watched every week as they aired (Parasyte, Death Parade, and TG: Root A). While, the rest I watched on my own free-time. It may seem like a lot, but it's really not. I can go through a 25-ish episode anime in like a week or so. (INB4 Archduke is a faggot and has no life! That’s the reason he watches so much shows in such a short amount of time! ughhh….. Assholes. DSP2 Razz)

Death Parade 8.5/10 Pretty surprisingly good anime. The last episode had me riding the feels train, and this show just made you care about the characters. Even in a somewhat-episodic anime of this nature, it just worked. Madhouse does it again with another quality show. I will never get sick of that opening, either.

Parasyte: The Maxim 9.5/10 I feel like the second half of this show dipped a bit in quality and honestly wasn't as good as the first half. IMO, of course. Ultimately though, the last few episodes were great and the ending was very satisfying. Amazing anime. One of the best of 2014. If you're an anime fan and you haven't seen this year, you are missing out on greatness. Madhouse kicks ass once again!

Kill la Kill 8.5/10 Didn't think I was going to like this show very much. I tried watching it when it first came out, and i didn't like it very much. I was turned off by the artstyle and animation of the show. After watching Gurren Lagann and many other shows, I came back to give this another shot. Little did I know that this show was made by some of the people that made Gurren Lagann.  Very Happy  Very Happy  All I can say is, Holy Fucking Shit, this was an amazingly awesome and hilarious show. The fanservice pretty much makes the show, and as a central plot-point, is done brilliantly. It's not as good as TTGL, IMO, but it’s still a blast to watch for all its 25 episodes.

Tokyo Ghoul: Root A
7.5/10 Its fight scenes are nice, and the music and animation are all pretty decent at times. There was far less censorship this time around, which was big-added bonus for this show, since season 1 was filled with garbage-type censorship that made some moments of the show just completely unwatchable for me. I liked this series quite a lot, and it definitely had some badass fight scenes that are worth talking about. However, it could have been a much better series in terms of faithfull-ness to the manga. (Not that I read it, because I didn't. However, I saw people complaining over every new episode of root a that it strayed too far away from the manga, and needs a reboot.) The final episode was just ok at best, with a terribly executed cliffhanger near the very end of the episode. Overall, it's slightly better than the first season, but not by much.

Fate: Stay Night (2006)
Spoiler:

Not going to bother with a review score. As its own show and not part of the Fate universe, it's alright. It has some nice fight scenes, and cool plot points. But, compared to the Visual Novel and the highly-superior visual masterpiece that is Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (TV Series), it is complete and utter shit. If you are new to the Fate Universe and wanting to jump into this series, avoid this show like the plague. Either go play/watch a playthrough of the Fate route of the visual novel, or start watching the new Fate/Stay Night TV series. They are much more worthy of your time, instead of original Fate/SN anime, which is unfaithful as fuck.

Fate/Zero 10/10 An absolutely masterpiece from start to finish. Epic and amazing. One of the reasons why I love the Fate
series, and one of my favorite anime's ever.

Oh, and Kiritsugu Emiya FTW

Got some catching up to do when it comes to reviewing, so i'll just review the ones from last season.

Parasyte 9/10

Honestly is there any better studio than Madhouse at this point? A beautiful adaptation of a pretty old niché manga brought back to life. Incredible art, intense unpredictable moments and one of the greatest MC character development i've seen in a long time

Death Parade 9/10

Holy shit this was one hell of a rollercoaster of emotions. A deeply psychological anime that deals with dying, grief, hate, love and all emotions in between. All put extremely well in a very unique setting. The only flaw i have was that some characters seemed useless and not fleshed out at all, if it weren't for that this would be easily a 10.

Junketsu no Maria 7/10

A pretty solid and fun anime with some confusing characters and parts. Would recommend it to ArchAngel for being strongly based around christian themes.

Log Horizon S2 7/10

Not as strong as the first season IMO. It felt too slow paced, it added random characters with no explanation and tried to tie all the plotholes into the last episode. But it's still pretty damn good as an MMO based anime and the actions scenes remain just as good despite the chance in animation studios.

@Toxicmanic Ufotable > Madhouse (Animation only, though. I agree that Madhouse is the best studio at adapting from the source material and implementing it into the shows themselves. Hell, there are ton of people on the internet who believe that the Tokyo Ghoul anime should be rebooted by Madhouse.)

Psycho-Pass 8/10 Pretty awesome show. I loved the music in this series, especially from the openings. The characters are all interesting and well fleshed-out, to the point where you care what happens to them. It has a somewhat deep and meaningful story-line that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The main villain is also very interesting and worth a notice. This series reminded me a lot of the film Minority Report, for its similar tones in the nature of the setting, story-line, and overall themes. One of Production I.G.'s better shows. The dub is also pretty great.

Psycho-Pass II 4/10 What the fuck happened to this series? This season is nothing but complete and utter bullshit! The main villain is an absolute joke, the plot-twist near the end is stupid and predictable as hell, and the story becomes convoluted and turns into a mess near the end. It's also very short compared to the first season (11 episodes long), and feels rushed. Hell, even some of the new characters introduced into this season were unlikable and annoying. Easily among the worst of 2014, and a massive disappointment to fans of the franchise. Hopefully the movie is a saving grace and doesn't let the fans down.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun 9/10 Best shojo I've ever seen. A generally funny and entertaining show, with cool and defined characters to boot. I enjoyed the hell out of this anime, and would love a season 2. Even if the romance took a back-seat to everything else going on, I really didn't mind it.

Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne Pretty great short series with a heavy focus on dark and mature themes, and nice immortals vs. angels story-line in a modern setting. Worth watching for the sexual content, alone. Not a hentai though, so don't worry if you hate watching anime porn.

Little Witch Academia Anime+Disney+Harry Potter=Epic Win! Looking forward to the sequel being released this summer.

Death Billiards 9/10 Fantastic short-film, and a great start for people wanting to get into watching Death Parade.

Here are some recommendations and suggestions for ya:

Ergo Proxy: Described as a "dark science fiction mystery with philosophical underpinnings". Set in the future, and deals with robots and human trying to co-exist in society. Has dystopian themes, and has a dark setting.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: While, I haven't seen the entire series personally, it is considered by the entire anime community to be a masterpiece. It is the best deconstruction of the mecha genre out there. This anime dives pretty deep with strong religious, philosophical, and psychological themes in its nature. The ending is apparently a complete mindfuck, and the animation studio dealt with budget issues in its final two episodes. This led to an alternate version of those two final episodes being made into a movie, called "The End of Evangelion" which told a different ending for the series. There's also the reboot series called the Rebuild of Evangelion, though again I don't know much about this because I haven't seen the entire series from start to finish. Animated by Gainax.

Steins;Gate: One of my personal favorites. Without giving away too much of the plot, it deals with science and time-travel. It's very well-received and loved by the anime community. Based off of an acclaimed visual-novel , which is getting a release in the west. A sequel VN/anime series has also been announced.

Paranoia Agent
: Acclaimed Japanese Animated filmmaker/Director Satoshi Kon's only TV series. A psychological thriller/horror, mystery, satire anime series. Animated by MADHOUSE.

Ghost in the Shell: More specifically, the original movie and all of Stand Alone Complex.

Baccano and Psycho-Pass are also worth watching.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt 8/10 A hilariously awesome mash-up of Japanese animation meets western cartoons. It basically felt like an old Craig McCracken cartoon show, with the humor of South Park. The dub is amazing, the characters are all interesting and funny, and the show is batshit crazy with some of the funniest moments I've ever seen in an animated tv show. The plot is all over the place and the show is very episodic, which can turn some people off. The ending is also a typical troll ending by Gainax, which makes no fucking sense whatsoever. However, it is a brilliant parody/satire of western animation and humor, and the references to western media are everywhere. The ova is also awesome and worth checking. Very vulgar though, and not recommend for young children. Too bad we'll never get a Season 2. Sad Sad

Nisekoi
3/10 I don't see the appeal of this show or what makes it special. Yes, the Shaft visuals and the art-style is amazing, but that is about it. It's just another shounen rom-com harem with shit characters, an annoyingly stupid MC, cringe-worthy dialogue, and a pretty lame story. The pacing is also all over-the-place, and is very annoying. I've seen all of season 1, the ova's, and all of season 2 so far. This show sucks, but I can't drop it because I've watched too far into this series to drop it. (32 episodes) Season 2 is pretty much just feels like filler, which is lame. I thought about checking out the manga to see the ending, but I've heard the manga is even worse, thanks to it being in Shonen Jump and being extend/milked into the ground.

Just watch Bakemonogatari if you want a good romcom, instead of this nonsense.

Pupa 1/10 A series so bad, each of its twelve episodes are only 4 minutes long. (That's including the 30-sec long OP and ED in every episode. DSP2) The show itself has a mess of a story that never gets told to completion, and is an insult to mankind with its grotesque guro-hentai themes, and incest themes that will leave you in shame for watching this. Avoid this anime like the plague.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movie 3: Rebellion 9/10 Fucking awesome and an amazing continuation to the Madoka Magica story. The animation is gorgeous and vivid, the style is wonderful, and it all looks better thanks to the bigger budget for this film. All of our favorite characters are back, with Mami Tomoe getting more screen-time then she got in the original series. This has wonderful action scenes, with a fight scene so beautifully animated and executed to perfection. The story is even darker than the original series, with a few twists and turns you will never see coming. The movie isn't perfect though, as Bebe aka Nagisa kinda felt unnecessary in this movie, and the ending. Oh man, the ending. It's not a bad ending, but the series as a whole cannot end with this. It took me by surprise, and they better continue it with another movie at some point. Overall, great continuation to the series.

Dragon Ball Super - Episode 1 (2015)

I thought it was a pretty decent episode. The tone is more like Dragon Ball than it is Dragon Ball Z, so I can see a lot of DBZ fans being disappointed with this. It's only the first episode, so you can't really judge it just yet. The episode takes place after the events of Majin Boo, and you see what the characters have being doing since then. Meanwhile, Beerus, the God of Destruction, is still up to no good. Destroying planets for any reason that he doesn't like. All in all, it was an okay episode. There was nothing great about it, but it wasn't bad either. It was more like seeing old friends again.

Finished Stardust Crusaders, i liked Battle Tendency more but only by a little bit. JoJo overall proves it is the best anime. Unsure what to give next a shot, thinking Neon Genesis Evangelion. Replayed MGS2 again and would like an anime like that.

Gangsta - Episode 1 (First Impression)

Now, this is an anime worth talking about! It's a dark seinen anime, that certainly does not pull its punches when it comes to mature themes. It reeks of just coolness, with stylish mobsters and mafia members fighting each other in a fictional city inspired by southern Italian cities, with English/American overtones in them. The characters are cool and interesting, with one of them being deaf who kicks a ton of ass! It’s an anime that is very reminiscent of Black Lagoon, Jormungand, and Gungrave for its style and pizzazz overtones. This is my favorite show of Summer 2015 anime season so far. Will be watching every week for a new episode, loving this show so far.

Gate:  Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri - Episode 1 (First Impression)

It’s has an interesting premise, where the fantasy world of a video-game meets the real life world today. (Modern-day Japan) The main MC is a 30-year old obsessive Otaku who works for a living to keep up with his hobby. One day, the Gate opens up and these fantasy creatures come and attack the city. The MC quickly becomes a hero to everyone, once he helps stop the fantasy beings with help of the JSDF. He quickly joins the Japanese Self-Defense Force, as they go into the Gate to invade this Fantasy world. It’s a cool concept, but I don’t know where this show will go with this concept. Could be either good or bad.

Chaos Dragon Sekiryuu Seneki - Episode 1 (First impression)

Seemed okay. Yet another anime with a fantasy x video-game setting. Didn't seem like anything special, other than the fact that this show's light novel series was based off of 5 famous people in the anime industry played a board game, and then decided to take the rules of that game and adapt it. It probably won't be very good tbh, but I'll wait and see. The art is nice and pretty, though. Might drop it at some point.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai - Episode 1 (First Impression)

A hilarious anime that took me by surprise. It's concept and premise is just so ridiculous and outrageous, that I need to keep watching. It's a world where dirty/sexual jokes don't exist, and the society tries to maintain a higher standard of moral compass. If the people break these moral laws, they will be declared criminals and outlawed from society. There’s a little more to that, but I don’t what to spoil how crazy this show is. Will watch every-week for new episodes.
Spoiler:

Ushio to Tora - Episode 1 (First Impression)

An anime adapted from an old manga series from the 1990's. It's not bad from what I've seen so far, and the artstyle kinda looks like HxH 2011. Not much else to say about this one.
