It's Mortal Kombat. 'Nuff said. I actually like this new one over the original ones.

Resistance 3 (2011 - PS3) 8.0
This one is probably the best in the series. I like all of the cool guns and their secondary uses, but I'm not all that used to health packs in shooters considering it's an outdated practice.

Resistance 3: 9.0

A perfect blend of modern day shooter elements, and old school shooter elements. Being able to carry all of your weapons let's you use your favorite weapons without sacrificing others and having a health meter keeps you on your toes and encourages you to search the area for health packs.

Batman: Arkham City (2011 - PS3) 9.0
The game is pretty much the same as the first but with a bigger world. It's pretty cool because it gives you more options as to how you attack certain situations. I also like some of the improvements to combat and the new gadgets and upgrades.

Your 9.0s are about as predictable as Eurogamer's 8.0

The only games I rated 9.0 and/or higher are The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (10.0), Portal 2 (10.0), Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (9.5), Dead Space 2 (9.5), Batman: Arkham City (9.0), Infamous 2 (9.0), Gears of War 3 (9.0), and LittleBigPlanet 2 (9.0), all of which I think are more than deserving of their scores (and I'm sure many would agree).

How the hell did UC3 go from a 8.5 to a 9.5? Was the final chapter a porn scene or something?

Great for the Nostalgia and for people who never played the 1st one.

Though, I'd hardly recommend it beyond to people who've never played it.

Payday: The Heist 9/10

One of the Most underrated games I've played all year. It's just so fun.

Sonic Generations (360) 7.0
Pretty fun game and definitely better than most of the shit Sonic we've been given this gen. The controls are still not as tight as I'd like them to be but the game does a good job of combining the best of both types of Sonic game.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (360) 8.5
I actually like this more than the new Mortal Kombat game. The art style is really cool and I love all the characters, plus the team system is awesome.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (360) 9.0
Don't be hatin'. I never play too much of the multiplayer because it's not my cup of tea, but the campaign is brilliant. The set pieces are great, although sometimes they're too much to handle, the controls and gameplay are smooth as butter, the game looks good, especially the lighting and gun detail, the voice acting is solid (except for Makarov), and the story is pretty cool.

MW3's graphics in campaign look excellent. The MP graphics on the other hand are a bit of a let down since so many of the textures are recycled from previous COD games.

I give MW3 a solid 8.5

8.5? You guys must be high the campaign was ok but the multiplayer and spec ops were shit. 3/10
I admit the juggernaut was awesome but it was annoying to get and could be stolen.

Gears 3 8/10
Love the campaign and beast/horde mode but the multiplayer is a piece of shit. Half the people in the game use nothing but the retro and sawed off.

Halo Anniversary 5/10
The campaign was good as expected, but it's a little aged and the new graphics are inconsistent. I'm pissed off they didn't add the Halo CE multiplayer. Didn't want to split the community what a bunch of fucking idiots Halo Reach is the third most played game over Xbox Live I'm pretty sure their would still be lots of people playing it....

Dead Island 4/10
Crap graphics, crap gameplay, liked the characters though...

Dark Souls 9/10
Amazing game. Some framerate and network problems but other than that amazing all around.

Battlefield 3 8.25

The campaign is average and doesn't feel like a battlefield game. Some of the missions are fun, like the tank and jet ones, some are just downright frustrating at times. The story is ok and is nothing amazing. The Multiplayer, on the other hand, is amazing. All the classic battlefield game modes return. It's so much fun to play in vehicles and fighting your way in maps with your teammates is a blast. Plus, Jets are kickass.

Overall, The campaign just holds this game back a bit. It's still one of the best FPS games released in 2011 and IMO has the best FPS MP on the market today.
