Dark Souls is bigger than Skyrim

I'm getting this instead of Skyrim. I've always wanted Demon Souls.

And so the legendary dragon age vs elder scrolls debate has evolved into dark souls vs skyrim.

It's not even an argument, they aren't even remotely similar (bar weapons). Oblivion was way bigger than Demon's Souls so I'm expecting Skyrim to trump Dark Souls in size and scope as well.

EDIT: @ Arcana, change your insult, "Bio-Sexual" would imply that I'm attracted to the living, which is normal.

I thought Bethesda said in their demo presentation that Skyrim was not gonna be bigger than Oblivion in terms of the size of the map.

In terms of square footage, it's not gonna be bigger, but the map is much more vertical considering Skyrim is a much more mountainous region than Cyrodiil, meaning it will feel much bigger.

well , its bigger in terms of awesomeness ...

there's a big difference
in skyrim you can reach a specific position by taking other paths
in dark souls (from what ive seen what people have said)
you can only reach a specific locations by just going the first time you reached the destination before.i doubt its gonna be bigger than skyrim in map size and content but still it looks like a awesome game

Also, Dark Souls has gotten a bunch of 9s and 10s! I can't - FUCKING - wait!

Its out, i played it for 16 hours and its bloody awesome. And its way harder than Dempns Souls so far. (started as a knight)

I'm forcing myself to play and beat Demons Souls first before I get Dark Souls.
