It is very good. Like a mature version of pokemon. But instead of pokemon it's demons, instead of catching you buy them, and instead of evolving you fuse them. The story is good and there are many different endings. The combat is a hybrid between a tactical rpg and a turn based batlle system. The game is difficult, but grinding is not necessary, as exp is earned based on the level difference. Defeating enemies that are higher level than you gives you bonus exp and beating demons lower level gives you reduced exp. The only problem I have is that some of the bosses are kinda cheap. They won't make you rage, but some will be very annoying.

It's not open. There are like 20 areas to go to, but you don't walk around, you just select one and pick an available option of what to do. The game takes course over 7 days, and areas will have events (conversation/battle) that take up 30 minutes of game time. You basically choose who to talk to and what battles to do during the time allowed, it's not very important what you pick, but most events are interesting. It also has 5 endings, and a new game plus, certain choices will also extend the game to 8 days.

I bought no new games this month, although I rented and beat Sleeping Dogs. It's a GTA clone, but with a focus on melee combat, since guns are difficult to get in hong kong, although they are more common in the later half of the game. If you do everything and go for the achievements/trophies it will take up between 30 and 40 hours, although there isn't anything to do after that, except maybe replay missions and try to get a better score. It was very cinematic and had a lot of action sequences, like hijacking moving cars and cars being thrown into the air after having their tires shot out. The best parts where the car chases. Problems with the game where a shitty camera (when driving) and the guns. You could pretty much only have guns during the missions and if you wanted to go on a random rampage you would have to steal a gun from a cop and even then you could only hold one gun at a time. I would wait for it to drop to 20 bucks before buying, but until then it's a great rental.

LOZ promotional disk cost me about $60 AUD. Was tempted to buy a sealed one from the same seller for $129 AUD hahaha.

Quite enjoying TOTA. About 15 hours in. It holds up pretty well compared to other JRPGs and newer Tales games.
