Your thoughs on this year's gaming so far?

It's doing pretty solid. I just don't play games anymore, though.

Don't care about that. I could've bought Bloodborne or Witcher III or whatever, but I don't give enough of a damn. Gaming isn't doing poorly. it just isn't in my interests anymore.

I don't know? There are more people buying consoles this time than last-gen (if you exclude Wii/Wii-U comparisons), so there's still that. For me, personally, I just don't find as much excitement. I don't know why that is, though.

It was okay. Certainly better than last year.

Too many remasters of games not even that old. People are upset over Gears of War remaster getting a 7 from Gamesspot lol

Who here is getting MGS5?

This year has been pretty shitacular so far. I'm just waiting for Persona 5 and Disgaea 5.

Splatoon is pretty good

I haven't played Bloodborne yet even though I have it

Pretty solid year for gaming so far. Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, MGSV came out and were all fantastic games. (Just got Bloodborne and have played some of that. Didn't get too far due to being busy with college and all, but it's a pretty great game from what I've played of it. The Witcher 3 is easily my favorite WRPG of all-time. Can't wait for the 1st expansion to release at some point. )

Splatoon, Batman: Arkham Knight, and MKX also came out to praise and acclaim. I still need to get Batman: Arkham Knight and play that. Until Dawn looks pretty cool as well, and Super Mario Maker is getting great reviews from everyone. We're also getting Fallout 4, Star Fox Zero, and Tomb Raider in November, so even if StarWars: Battlefront comes out and flops very hard, we're still getting some good games to play. There's Halo 5: Guardians and Call of Duty: Black Ops III that will sell tons of copies and move console units later this year. Forza 6 looks pretty good for Xbone racing fans. Finally, Hotline Miami 2 came out despite being refused classification in Australia, and Just Cause 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles X are both due to release in December of this year. I would say it has been a good year for gaming up until now. Certainly better than last year's. Though, I'm upset that Street Fighter V got delayed to 2016, I was really looking forward to it.

EDIT: Forgot about Disgaea 5 coming West in October.
