Maybe re-read what I said mate. I respected some of the games DS had but I found too many in its library were side-scrollers or top down (even good titles were reduced to that) and that pissed me off a bit. And DS and 3DS are whole worlds apart. For one, 3DS actually has a PROPER Legend of Zelda game. Another thing, 3DS is getting Monster Hunter games (like psp did). Another thing, 3DS is getting good third person shooters (psp had Syphon Filter, 3DS has Resident Evil). Furthermore its got the best Mariokart game to date. I'll never be insecure about my purchase because how can you be insecure about video games? Either you enjoy them or you don't. And secondly if I ever regretted my purchase or discovered the other system to be better, I'd sell it. Like I did with my Wii and playstation 1. Or I'd get the competitor. Like I did when I owned a gamecube, I bought a ps2 as well. Being a gamer first and foremost I'm capable of seeing the pros and cons of every system. Those I own, those I don't own. Those I might own. Those I'll never own. If I wanted a Vita I would have got a Vita. If I want one now I can still get one. But I didn't need one and I still don't. Maybe later down the line when it gets more games, there might be some I actually like. I mean the YS game is tempting... but aside from that (a game that isn't even out yet) I have no reason to buy one. EDIT: Forgot to mention, PSP is still my favourite handheld full stop. That being said, 3DS has the potential to be better. So does Vita but it doesn't have anything going for it aside from great visuals (and 3DS isn't that far off anyway, its like ps3 to 360). Whereas 3DS has 3D which really makes games more compelling.

| The Vita is what we call an underappreciated gem. The 3DS is an everyman's Jack Of All Trades, which is why it sells so well. | |

To be fair Vitas library has nothing going for it just yet. I mean it has great graphics...but good graphics is nothing new. DS and wii sell amazingly with sub-par graphics. In terms of games, it has Uncharted so far.....what else really stands out from its library of games? Nothing yet really. And Uncharted flopped compared to its ps3 brethren.

My Vita is gathering a bit of dust, mind you this always happens as I only tend to play a handheld when I go abroad. But when I do i'm glad to have one.

Allow me to rephrase this in a more basic way beause you have trouble understanding. This is a sales thread, yes? We are discussing sales, right? Games are a great way to sell a gaming system, right? Well Uncharted happens to be the only full-on blockbuster title the Vita is offering right now. In other words, a system seller. The only game that will really move units so far. And it didn't get as critically well recived as the previous games for whatever reasons. Do we understand each other?
