It has been announced that Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 composer Jack Wall will not be completing the trilogy and that a replacement for Mass Effect 3 has already been found. Taking the helm for the final part is Clint Mansell.
Before I heard about Clint Mansell's appointment I was thinking about what composers I would like to see making the soundtrack based off their previous work.
My personal favourite choice would have to be John Murphy based off his soundtrack for the movie Sunshine. His music was very stirring emotionally and it fit with the space theme of the movie beautifully.
The one track that stood out was Adagio In D Minor (Surface of the Sun) which has also been used in the movie Kick-Ass and in the TV series The Walking Dead.

Jack Wall was amazing with ME1 and ME2's soundtrack...I have a feeling ME3's soundtrack will be so different than ME1 and ME2's that it won't even remotely sound like Mass Effect.

No I don't want it to sound "better". I want it to sound like Mass Effect. I'd be disappointed if it fucking sounded like a Modern Warfare game or some shit.
