Wolfie Reviews: Albums Empty
PostSubject: Wolfie Reviews: Albums   Wolfie Reviews: Albums I_icon_minitimeFri Oct 21, 2011 7:37 pm

I made a thread in which I reviewed albums from 2011 but in this thread I will review albums from all kinds of eras. Particularly from 1990's to present but I may occasionally review older records.

Artist: Obsidian Chamber
Album: Der Gesang der Fliegen (2010)
Wolfie Reviews: Albums 2014810
A few listens may be required before Der Gesang der Fliegen can be grasped. But once adjusted to the somewhat unique flavor of Obsidian Chamber's black metal, there is a sense of enchantment drawn from within the grotesque, malignant vibes the vicious guitar melodies and bloodied vocals create. Der Gesang der Fliegen begs to be listened to and appreciated but my only complaint is that towards the end it begins to become somewhat monotonous due to a couple of filler tracks.
8/10
