New Assassin's Creed game screenshots leaked

Those following screenshots are leaked from apparently one of two new assassins creed games coming in the Fall. It's still undetermined if this is either the Next-Gen console game or a last gen spin-off. (These screenshots show graphics of an unfinished game, btw. The main game will looks better than this.)











Yes, this is set in Paris, France.

And Finally, Assassin's Creed 5 is rumored to be called to be called Assassin's Creed: Unity. EDIT: The 360/PS3 game is rumored to be called AC: Comet.

China during the whole Boxers and Saints stuff or Russia with Ivan The Terrible would be way better, as would Egypt. Just glad it's not China, hoping it's Napleonic Wars and we get more naval combat.

I'm surprised people aren't burnt out on Assassin's Creed at this point.

I can't fucking believe they are doing France. This is going to be way to similar to the style of Italy in AC2.

@ Orion, It's apparently set in the late Eighteenth Century, so French Revolution Era.

BTW, this hasn't been confirmed to be the set location for Assassin's Creed 5, so Calm down Teckno. This could more than likely be a side AC game. Assassin's Creed 5/Next-gen AC will be a new location, according to news articles.

@ Jack, people aren't burnt out because it sells pretty well and gets very high acclaim on their games. Plus, every game in series has a new location of some sort (Except the AC2/Ezio Trilogy), with a brand new plot-line and characters.

Anyways, I am looking forward to the actual confirmation to Assassin's Creed 5.

I also heard that the game is supposedly set in England, as well as France.

I rather them just focus on 1 title and make it fanfuckingtastic.

I've played all of them up until Revelations, so I can't comment on the ones after that. But unless they have added some really awesome new things I can't see how they can continue to be. Again, haven't played the new ones so maybe I'll have to pick those up some time to see.

I love both, but gotta give it to Black Flag.

I hope the Templars are portrayed in a manner where you can understand their viewpoint like with Haytham in AC3, who was the best part about the game and an infinitely better character than shitty Conner.

Honestly i wouldn't mind a game where we play as Haytham.

Oh so it is set in France, why didn't they call it Assassin's Creed White Flag considering the French always surrender?

Anyways disappointed about it being next gen only, can anyone help me out trying to build a PC to play next gen games but trying to be as cost efficient as possible?

Also heard that this won't have naval battles, so fuck this piece of shit.

You don't need boats to make a good AC game, Orion. Stop trolling.   

The boat obsession is indeed getting out of hand. AC isn't great just because of the naval combat.

Face the fact that since they made AC4, naval will never be a focus.

The naval battles are the only good thing about the AC franchise gameplay wise, and you know it.

Exactly Teckno. AC2 and AC:Brotherhood were both great and they didn't have boats in it.

@ Orion,

French Revolution setting should be really cool. I hope we get to use the guillotine a lot, assassinate Robespierre, and contribute to France's Reign of Terror in some way.

It's fine that they are doing France as a non-main AC game. But for the main games they need to step out of the European realm.
