Interesting. I actually thought they were going with Assassin's Creed 3 this year but I guess they are saving it for 2012 which is when the game is set.

i hope its not the "holy land" again and i hope they finally make a good altair game..the nintendo one was crap,bloodlines was terrible and the first one was decent in my opinion

I loved the AC:II haven't played AC:BH or AC:BL, but i never got around to finish the first since i got frustrated not knowing what to do on the tutorial part where your not suppose to let the A.I drop the vase. lol This is the most embarrassing moment in my gaming life.

I don't see how that's possible because none of the letters were connected. In Arabic letters are connected 90% of the time. Those were just random letters.
Unless the guy connected it for himself and read the words like that.

No that is overdone. The next AC game should be set in modern day somewhere, maybe US... Not New York though as that is also overdone.

NYC would never work with Assassin's Creed. I haven't been there myself, but none of the buildings would be climbable even by a Master Assassin, not to mention that all the buildings are extremely high and there's no hay stacks lying in the middle of Times Square. It would never work unless they dramatically changed the gameplay which they wont because the series is defined by its melee combat and its parkour.

That would suck because of guns. Even if it doesn't have guns, the missions would just be about 1 or a few proletariat.
