Not worth the extra 100 bucks, to be honest.
Though, considering the Xbox One - in itself - is $500 mandatory, I could definitely see this as a steal. A big win-win for Sony, that is. :)

I can see maybe 12-15% higher sales in vita with the launch of ps4 not much more though

PsVita needs more games to make that investment. This price ignores accessories and games as well. However, the base price of 500$ is embarrassing for Microsoft.
