After thinking about it, and re-watching some old clips: The Amazing Spider-Man is better than the original Spider-Man movie. Not quite up with Spider-Man 2, but it's right behind it, nonetheless.

The Amazing Spider-Man >>>> Spiderman >>> Spiderman 2 >>>>>> Spiderman 3.

To me, it is:

Spider-Man 2 > The Amazing Spider-Man > Spider-Man > Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man 3 is obviously the Citizen Kane of the superhero genre.
