Has anybody heard of the Ouya Console?

It's supposed to be a $99 console that's also completely open to hacking and would allow amateur and indie game developers to make games for it. They asked for $950,000 over kickstarter so they could launch the console by march 2013. They reached their goal in 8 hours. Here are some links so you can read about it yourself.

The idea sounds really good and I hope it succeeds. It won't have the same graphic capabilities as the next gen consoles obviously but graphics don't mean much to me anyways.

This has actually alot of potential for indie developers to shine on consoles. Very interested.

I can't say I'm excited for it now, but it does have the potential to catch my interest at some point if the software is there.

I am really intrigued by it. It could be a lot of fun. It will be like having a hacked psp... but a full blown console. It just NEEDS MORE STORAGE.

Tablet specs? well it ain't bad for the price, i'm very interested to where it
will go and how it will evolve as people understand it better.

Online gameplay will be full of hackers. Could cause a lot of chaos. IDK man.

I'd imagine rooms would have admins who could boot and ban cheaters from the server.

Very well let me state why I have no interest. I personally believe this is gonna be one of those consoles that come and go just like in the 3-5 gen of gaming. Which if you didn't know those consoles didn't do well. Therefore its safe to say this console won't do well. I don't want a console from a company who's gonna come and go. I want a console that I can be sure will last a few years.
