My first computer build

I posted a thread back in December about me building a computer, well it finally happened and here it is
I made a few different changes since then but i am happy with what i ended up with, i'm not quite done with it tho.


Not an amazing job with the cable management but i think it looks good enough. :content:
Notice the stock heatsink :lolguy:


The front and top fan have LED lights that can turn blue, red and green, i keep it blue.
The 850W power supply can be white or blue, looks awesome at night :megusta:


This is how it looks from the side with the side panel on, i really like the design of the case. 8)


I thought about putting zip ties on those cables, but the side was able to close so i didn't even bother :fuckthat:


And last picture to show the front, i like the little legs it has, they come handy from time to time.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro which was provided to me for free thanks to my teacher, so far i have only played
Metro 2033 and Mass Effect, will get Battlefield 3 next week, it better blow me the fuck away.

I have the 2500k and the 8gb of Vengeance RAM to they look great together with the p67 mobo... cus dey blue !

Are you going to OC your CPU ? its super easy with that mobo (get a new heatsink though !)

btw your power supply is upside down : )

Yeah i'm planning to get another heatsink, i didn't get a better one due to my budget.
I wanted to make sure i bought the essential parts first, so yes i plan to OC.

I still don't get why the psu should be facing the other way, last build we did at
school they had it the same way, care to explain?

Damn are you actually using all those cables? Modular power supplies FTW

it is a modular PSU : ) its just i have six fans that all need power

Why spend $1700 on a gaming PC? it was school money,
so the money didn't even come from my wallet.

The monitor was $200, so technically i spent $1500 on the PC, i could of easily
build a good gaming PC for about $850, but i chose to spend more so i could make a
beast computer, why? because I CAN :content:
