Why I bought a wii

My recent purchase of the Nintendo Wii has been a rather controversial matter over here on the G7 forum. So this post is to justify my purchase.
These are my reasons why I bought the wii:

1. It's first place
I didn't feel comfortable having a system in my house that has second place taint. It just sucked the enjoyment out of every gaming session, the knowledge that my system isn't winning. So I needed the wii to cancel out such faggotry. Don't get me wrong, xbox is cool and everything. But wii is winning.

2. The waggling
It's pretty self explanatory. Motion controllers are simply much more fun than standard controllers. Standard controllers are boring and don't really do anything special.
I mean think how dull Pacman would have been back in the day if it didn't have motion control. Exactly.

3. The graphics are good
It's a common misconception that the wii has bad graphics. I don't get how people can believe this. I can narrow it down to one thing, delusion.
Take a look at God Of War 3, a game often hailed as one of the best looking console games ever.
Yeah it looks kinda okay.
But now look at Legend Of Zelda for wii:

Compare the ground texture on gow to the bridge in loz.
See? Zelda has better resolution and texture detail. It even has bumper mapping, if I draw your attention to the rocky surface.
On top of that, look at the character models on gow. They look blur-tastic compared to zelda wii.

Basically, wii has the best graphics.

4. It's LBGT month
Those who are real gamers know that video game systems are more than simply pieces of plastic. How many times have you heard a fanboy state something along the lines of, "wii is gay?" online?
That's because it's true. Every system represents a sexuality. PC is a lesbian, 360 is bisexual, wii is gay and ps3 is a transgender.
And so I thought I would support this month's lgbt awareness through buying the "gay" system. And ps3 owners, if you're not dressing your ps3 up in skirts and ribbons, there's something wrong with you.

5. I can watch porn on my wii
Yeah, not everyone is as lucky as you and owns a computer. Now I finally have a way to bash the bishop over some sexy material.

6. It's cool to own a wii
I heard that girls like men who own wiis and find it sexy so that's why I got one.

7. There are no games on ps3 or xbox
It's true. There's like uncharted and halo and that's it. Wii has loads more games.

8. It's white
I was tempted to buy a ps3, I really was, but alongside the fact that it's last place, there is no white model.
Fucked up or what?
No offense to sony but I don't want no nigga console. I want a white system like my xbox.

9. It has cod
I really wanted black ops so I decided to buy a wii.

10. It's small
I don't have anymore space.

as a Multi console owner i am. i think you made the worst decision in your entire gaming life. If i can recall. last time i played the Wii was about a year ago. also, the Wii has worse graphics then the ps2. and the Games: Zelda, mario and ohh GoldenEye or wtf it was called. if i was you, go get a PS2, they are like 40 quid now. and ohh they got betterz games too

And no wii obviously has better graphics because even gamecube has better graphics than ps2 and wii is more powerful than gamecube
In fact technically wii is more powerful than ps3. So stop being so delusional man.
And wii has like 4699 games. It'll be a while before I get bored of that. Especially when ps3 and xbox have like 6 games

Well my real reason for wanting a wii was because of their different approach to gaming. Lately it's mainly been games with good graphics but that are linear and dull.
I was dyyying for a game like Legend Of Zelda.
Wii was the best option.
I could've bought a ps3 and got more of the same but I took the one that's outside my comfort zone but that provides some games I can't get elsewhere.
