Yeah. Wii gets the best version. And the new gen had already started when those games came out (duh) so chances are people never got those games on any other platform, they were too focused on buying the new games.

2. Shovelware? The guys that made this game (Treasure) are the same people that made Gunstar Heroes, Radiant Silvergun (Best shmup for most people), Ikaruga (Amazing shmup. Its the game that you have to change the color of your ship in order to collect bullets of that same color), Gradius V (All the shmup fans know this game. Very popular series), and Guardian Heroes (A beat-em up with shmup elements. Very amazing game).

No I didn't mean that. I'm sure these games are great. But quite a lot of games that get 50's and below (out of 100) are these styles of games. You're one of the few people I know that play these kinds of games yet somehow there's all these crap games of a similar style.

Yes...they are the same in different ways. But its all about the bullets and enemies and all that stuff that makes it unique.

I picked nearly 50. That's 5 times the average system owner's games library. Plus I've not even named half of them. I just skimmed down through metacritic, picked out the ones that caught my eye and posted them.
Also I didn't include any sports, wrestling or racing games. There are quite a lot of those.
Plus, I only named the franchise names, some of which have several games like Metroid, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, House Of The Dead, etc
And keep in mind you can play any gamecube game on it.
There are hundreds of hardcore games to play on wii!

Put simply, it's only casual to those who perceive it as that.

So how many of those games are actually good tho? not bashing, i don't have a wii so i have idea, im more of a Kirby and Donkey Kong person when it comes to Nintendo products. If you wanna play violent gory games the other platforms are probably a better option. Why?

Graphics may not be everything, specially for Mario games and all those classic Nintendo icons, i mean, would u really wanna play with a Mario that looks realistic? lol

But graphics can help a game have more immersion, and its games like LA Noire and Heavy rain that really need to push in that department. Same goes for gory/violent games, take GOW3 for example.

Anyway i was bored and thought i could kill some time typing, im sure my lil rant has flaws so go ahead, point em out and tell me im wrong lol
