Steam alone has 2389 games. JUST Steam. PS3 has around 800.

I recently built a gaming PC this summer. Ever since, I have primarily been playing on that. So far, I'm enjoying the experience alot more. ...But it did cost around $800. Don't get me wrong, I still love consoles and will be getting a PS4(gotta have my Infamous fix), But I will be getting most of my games on PC unless it's poorly optimized, has Always On DRM, isn't available on PC, or it's a Ubisoft game.

Pc gaming isn't worth it, you need to make sure you have all the correct drivers and files and if you don't you have to spend a bunch of time making sure you got the right one. You also have to download and install every game which means you have to wait about a week to play a new release you bought. You also get a lot more glitches and bugs because the files and folders can get muddled up on computer. PC isn't a gaming platform, it's a computer platform for using YouTube and Amazon and G7, and video games last. If you want to PLAY games, you PLAY ON A GAMES SYSTEM LIKE PS4. A PC can also get viruses which you can catch if you play games online, which there's a 50% chance of, and then you need to spend another $1000 to build another PC and wait another 6 month's for it to break again and let the cycle repeat. PC master race my white ass.

It was hard trying to pretend that I was enjoying this one stupid zombie card game thing for the iOS in front of a PR guy at E3.

You know what, I was going to vote for PC. Mainly, because they have less idiotic console war arguments, huge steam sales, better graphics, and tons of games to play. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTT, seeing that lykos had to be butthurt and post on that reddit section full of PC elitists/fanboys, I will vote for consoles just to piss them off. PC fanboys are worthless individuals.

Seriously, if you're a real gamer then you will be on a console, not a PC.

I feel it's worth mentioning that this is not a fair comparison.

If you wanna count ALL Steam games, you need to count ALL PS3 games (including minis, PSone classics, PS2 classics, Home minigames, et cetera)

I use them for different stuff:
Console: fighting games, racing games, party games. Local multiplayer is just more fun with these. (Yes you can sometimes local MP on a PC but it's a pain in the ass usually). PS3 also has a lot of awesome exclusive RPGs.
PC: FPS, RTS, a bit of everything else. The key is to get a controller for the games with shitty KB+M support.
Handheld: Tactics, RPGs, mobile porn, stuff that I might only play for 30-60 mins or so at a time.

i used ps3 for games library comparison because it actually has games, while the ps4 currently doesn't have anything.
