I'm glad we have strict firearm laws. I don't have to worry about getting gunned down by Mr.Insane when exiting the local shop when buying some milk and a paper.

Getting a hold of a gun is hard unless you live in Manchester/Liverpool or something where most of the gun crime is anyways you have to be a farmer or apart of a gun club with a background check from the police.

The funny thing is in the UK you can't play a 18 rated CoD game but you're legally allowed to join the army at sixteen with the ability to fire real weapons (although not allowed to fight on the front-line) :lol!: fuck logic

I don't think normal cops should carry guns either, at least not on patrol. Many in the US just become cops for the power and to shoot things, nothing more. A few incidents like this does not change my mind on the matter a cop should know they might die at any time. Also the guy had a fucking grenade, I don't think they would have made it out alive even if they had guns; he turned himself in afterwards too.

they run background checks at ALL licensed FFL dealers INCLUDING Walmart. aswell as waiting periods in some states

no. a pistol is actually harder to get than a AR15. & according to an NRA artical about 2.5 Million ARs have been sold since 1986. another 337,000 AR pattern rifles were sold in US in 2008. i cant seem to find any more recent data, but in these past few years i know that the AR15s popularity has been through the roof. every time i go to range, its like everyone & their dog has an AR. aswell as a HUGE market for AR15 parts & accessories.



and this isnt even counting all the AKs, SKSs, mini 14s, AR10s, & many other semiautomatic "military style rifles"
