No it's not dying. It is alive along with PC gaming, handheld gaming, and mobile gaming (difference between handheld and mobile is in the platforms: handheld: PSVita/3DS, mobile: iOS, Android, Windows Phone or smartphone and tablets in general). Hell even social gaming has it's own space in the games sector. No part of gaming is dying there is enough room to make money for all sectors of gaming.
