| I think it would be a bit refreshing if we got a spiritual successor to COD: WaW. Or even a new WWII based Battlefield game. I know there is BF1943 but it's basically a barebones arcade game. | |

| 6 years ago I was tired of most shooter's being based on WW2.Now im tired of most shooters being based in modern warafre with russians as the default bad guy.I miss the WW2 shooters.... | |

Well more people may like the idea of killing Nazis vs killing Japanese. Seeing as unless you like things related to the Pacific War, then you are probably less likely to play it if you are European as they had less fighting there (If I remember correctly, the only country from Europe that directly fought in the pacific was Britain, and of the two battles I am aware of they did not fare well). Though admittedly I would like a game set in WW2 where you got a campaign for every side, including the axis, and on both fronts. I am not sure if anyone has done that yet.
I also looked up a top ten list for WW2 RTS games and they were all European War games where you pretty much only got to play as the allies, save a few where you got to be German. | |
