| If Wii-U is a success Sony will just ask for royalties but if it flops they wouldn't even bother probably. | |

Logically it's highly unlikely a company that only has 1 division (gaming) would risk an investment like that. If they did know about the patent they maybe thought that their tech is slightly different to the point where they don't have to pay royalties to Sony. | |
