Call Of Juarez The Cartel Review

THE STORY
the story is different from the past call of juarez games because it's set in the present day
i can't really tell much about the story except that it's
CRAP
no interesting characters,stupid story that its full of cliches we've seen in movies and other games
retarded dialogue because in every sentence there's a swear word
(yes its worse than kane and lynch..MUCH WORSE)
the story is basically stopping the cartels,mexican gangs
stupid shit that has been repeated over and over again
there's not a single connection to the past games
except that one of the characters you play is a descendant from the McCall brothers from the past game
but other than that everything is dull,stupid and pointless
the story does picks up the pace near the end but its not going to save the story

THE GRAPHICS
the graphics are simply CRAP
the enviroments aren't that bad but the character models are horrible..they look like a late ps2 game
stupid art design and the cars you are driving are the same cars but with different color..no taste in originality,no great weapons
they took the most basic and the most generic weapons from mw2 and they slapped it

so for the graphics

THE GAMEPLAY
the gameplay is better than the story and the graphics but still not good
the shooting is decent.some guns are a bit better than others but every gun feels cheap
like they have been made from i don't know China!
there's also secret agendas and picking up colectibles to level up in the game to unlock weapons but you don't really need to
its pointless and you only need to get the AK and its all done
the shotgun which was weird is basically the sniper in this game
i shot 3 dudes with one shell from 30 meters from me
after some time the cars that were near their bodies exploded
which was really weird..there's tons of glitches
sometimes because you didn't really know,you will kill some enemies and they are going to talk while they are dead
it didn't register the dialogue faster and that's why it's like that
the hand to hand combat is the worst ive seen in gaming
condemned 2 had better hand to hand combat
when you punch..the whole camera spins really fast,disorienting you in the process
the driving OH GOD!!
don't let me get started on the driving
when you turn..your character turns like he is on drugs while the vehicle barely turns
like you are driving a god damn tank..the shooting while driving is horrible
some levels are soo fast,you can't see where are you shooting
all in all the gameplay is just a bit better than everything else but its still bad

so for the gameplay

FUN FACTOR
as you can see..i really *loved* this game..tons of stupid shit like the pointless story,retarded graphics and horrible gameplay makes this the worst game i have played this year..i was a big fan of the past 2 games..especially the 2nd one but this destroyed the franchise for me
if there's another call of juarez game..its going to be the last chance to redeem itself for me but if it fails like this miserable piece of shit
its all over..for anyone else

Excuse me for thinking that The Cartel might actually be a decent game considering the first two games were decent.
