Space Opera Films of 2016

As if those movies are any real competition for Star Wars, lol.

Hannibal Lecter building the Death Star alone is already a win.

But Independence Day and Ratchet & Clank <3

I wonder if Hayden Christensen is coming back as Darth Vader in Rogue One? I hope they take advantage of Darth Vader in the film though. It would be cool, since there will be no Luke Skywalker to soften him up. It will be Vader at his prime.

If Ratchet & Clank flops, I will riot.

I wasn't going to include Independence Day: Resurgence at first. Because the first one was more of an alien invasion movie. But a good portion of this takes place in space and it's very Star Warsy than the original. So it counts as a space opera in my books.
