Two blockbusters, one animated movie, one porno and a musical made global record for Universal. I sure would've liked some more quality to those movies.

You have to be happy for Universal though. They seriously lacked when it came to big blockbuster franchises compare to most studios, until now.

That didn't stop them from being more successful than ever before:

I was clearly stating: "To those movies."

I've never understood the appeal of the Fast & Furious movies. The only one that I kinda liked was Tokyo Drift. And even that one was pretty average.

@RamboOnRedBull I never understood the appeal either. I mean, I guess it appealed more to the urban culture in America, and I think Universal knew that and embraced it at first. When I was a kid I kinda was riding (no pun intended) on the Fast & Furious band wagon. Because it seemed to be very popular with almost everyone I knew at the time. Eventually I began to outgrown the franchise, until out of nowhere the series began to actually be really fun popcorn flicks. I enjoyed Tokyo Drift as well. Mainly because of the Japanese culture and it didn't try to dumb things too down for it's audience like the rest of the Fast movies.

Yeah, I liked the setting of Tokyo Drift a lot as well. I also found the "drifting" element to be kind of refreshing from the random driving through blocks of collatoral damage. It felt cooler.

Fast & Furious was part of a "shared universe" this whole time.
