Lex Lang, Vic Mignogna, more join cast of dub streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Aniplex Channel.

Aniplex of America announced on Friday that it will stream an English dub for Durarara!!×2 Shō beginning on March 10. A new dubbed episode will premiere every Tuesday.

Many cast members are revising their roles from the first season. The dub cast, under director Kirk Thornton, includes:

   Kari Wahlgren as Celty Sturluson
   Darrel Guilbeau as Mikado Ryugamine
   Bryce Papenbrook as Masaomi Kida
   Michelle Ruff as Anri Sonohara
Johnny Yong Bosch as Izaya Orihara
   Crispin Freeman as Shizuo Heiwajima
   Yuri Lowenthal as Shinra Kishitani
   Steve Blum as Kyohei Kadota
   Brian Beacock asWalker Yumasaki
   Mela Lee as Erika Karisawa
   Spike Spencer as Saburo Togusa
   Kyle McCarley as Aoba Kuronuma
   Bridget Hoffman as Kururi Orihara
   G.K. Bowes as Mairu Orihara
   Vic Mignogna as Kasuka Heiwajima
   Doug Stone as Shingen Kishitani
   David Earnest as Seiji Yagiri
   Bridget Hoffman as Namie Yagiri
Cassandra Lee Morris as Saki Mikajima
   Keith Silverstein as Tom Tanaka
   Dan Woren as Haruya Shiki
   Christopher Smith as Kinnosuke Kuzuhara
   Patrick Seitz as Simon Brezhnev
   Doug Erholtz as Max Sandshelt
   Lex Lang as Egor

The dub, like the Japanese version that is currently airing in Japan, will be available in North America on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and the Aniplex Channel.

This will be Aniplex of America's first English dub to premiere while the series is still airing in Japan.

Takahiro Omori is directing the television anime at new studio Shuka with series composition by Noboru Takagi. Takahiro Kishida is designing the characters for the series, and Makoto Yoshimori is providing the music. Eri Yamazaki is designing the props, Hiromi Miyawaki is in charge of the color key, Norikazu Kamibayashi is serving as CG producer, Kazuhiko Seki is editing, Jin Tamura is in charge of photography, and the name of the animation's production group will be Ikebukuro Dollars (the same as the first season). The main cast from the original anime is returning to reprise their roles. OKAMOTO'S performs the opening theme "Headhunt" and Three Lights Down Kings performs the ending theme "Never Say Never."

Update: Kirk Thornton is serving as ADR director. Thanks, SpacemanHardy.

It looks like Aniplex of America may be going the FUNimation route, and jumping on the simuldub bandwagon. This is good for anybody who likes dubs or prefers dubs, as we are now getting them for shows much earlier than previously before. SAO II got dubbed pretty quickly as well.  I've never actually watched Durarara or its second season, but the plot seems interesting and the cast of English VA's for this anime is pretty great.

I always prefer Sub, though my Japanese is still incredibly weak. I'll be disapointed if the replace subbed simulpubs, they can be completely different shows.
