Wow, the guy completely misses the reason why people hate Activision. They don't care all that much about the quality of the games they make. If it's the same as the last game and sells well, who cares?

Just because gamers keep buying the same game doesn't mean they don't want something new. Activision is too obsessed with profits to take any risks whatsoever.
