Official Sony E3 Thread -2013

I'm expecting something great, hope it doesn't disappoint.

Lots of great looking games, no DRM, and $399 price tag. Nuff said.

Best E3 Conference ever, by any company ever. Yup, I'm going that far. They kicked the ever-living shit out of Microsoft and the Xbox One. Then, they stomped on them while they were down. Just pure ownage by Sony.

My conference rating 9.9/10

The only negative is that we have to pay to play online. Other than that, it was masterful.

Pros:

Indie games
Price being lower than the Xbox One
Kingdom Hearts 3 and FF15 announcements
No used games or DRM
Elder Scrolls Online

Cons:

None of the exclusives were special for me
MOVIES
Lol online gaming now costs
That wait time

I'd give it an 8/10

ill admit, sony didnt have many *EXCLUSIVE* PS4 games at the event. if we were talking strictly about GAMES, id give this conference a....

It would have been the defining E3 ever if it wasn't for the fact about the online price tag now.

Still amazing though.

Sure you have to pay for online, but it's a better deal than Xbox LIVE.

I just wish the KH3 and FFXV were exclusive. Goddamn. Really makes the PS4 lacking in games, compared to the Xbox one.

why? they wont sell very well on xbox. (compared to ps4 anyway.)

FFXIII on PS3 only sold 400,000 more copies than X360 in NA and 500,000 more in Europe.

That was when Xbox 360 was ahead in sales, and FFXIII STILL sold more on PS4. Now just imagine how the PS4 will do.

360 FF13 sales: 0.01m-0.7%

PS3 FF13 sales: 1.87m-37.6%

ff13 isn't a very good example though. it is the worst selling FF of all time, even a lot of the FF fans didn't buy it. it was also at a point where the PS3 was just starting to pick up in sales and the 360 still had more units sold.

It sold 7 mil in total, that's pretty good sales, also they probably aren't going to release it in Japan anyway. The sales agreement is null and void.

I know it was there, I mean there was barely anything for it. I feel like Sony is treating it more like a glorified PS4 accessory as opposed to an actual gaming system.

The star of the show was going to be the PS4 regardless. Remember, this is the showcase of next gen consoles type of E3. Past E3's had Vita emphasis as a stand alone.
