Modern-day gamers...... Mega Man may have been revolutionary, but honestly how much has the main series changed since the first game? Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 10 are pretty much the same game.

So basically there has been little innovation in the series since its conception, whereas Halo: CE paved the way for console shooters with its twin-stick control system and Halo 2 innovated with its online multiplayer on consoles. Then you've got Bungie.net, which is a great center for tracking statistics, finding user-generated content, etc. Halo always has a large multiplayer. With the exception of ODST, I've never felt cheated out of my money by a Halo game because Bungie always provides bang for the buck and a lot of replay value.

When Bungie makes 10 Halo games and makes them unique, hit me up. MM10 was a remake of MM2, TRF. Also, MM was pretty revolutionary for it's time.

I'd rather have six unique Halo games as opposed to ten or more Mega Man games that don't feel any different. Mega Man 10 is NOT a remake of Mega Man 2. All of the games in the series are pretty much the same. The only ones that stand out are Mega Man 7 and 8, and only due to a different art style. Yes, Mega Man was revolutionary for its time, but Halo was as well, and even today it continues to innovate. Halo 2 pretty much led the movement towards console multiplayer, and Halo 3 led the movement towards user-generated content on consoles, an idea that is now used by Far Cry, LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Gran Turismo 5, hell, even Mega Man Universe supported user-generated content.
