Guitar Hero 7 cancelled!

THEY RELEASED THAT MANY GAMES IN ONE YEAR?!?!?!?

WHAT THE FUCK ACTIVISION.

Guitar hero is dead. After releasing 3 fucking games with all the shit that comes with it people get tired of your shit.

I used to buy them every year. I just got so tired of them. You've played one, you've played them all.

I like what Harmonix did with Rock Band. You could port all of your old songs over to the new games, but they gave you ACTUAL REASONS to get a new game. New modes, new mechanics, etc. Much better series.

Sadly I think Guitar Hero destroyed the genre. It's not that people were getting sick of the genre, but Guitar Hero supersaturated it so much that Rock Band ended up suffering too.

Guitar Hero is pretty much a series that killed itself by flooding the market with its own titles. Most people I know had those games had about 20 plastic guitars. Later down the track game stores pretty much rejected people trying to trade in their plastic guitars.
