I just got my new PS3 slim 2 days ago and was wondering if any PS2 games are playable on it, and if so is there a list somewhere of the playable gamesÉ

Nope, PS3 Slims don't support backwards compatibility.
The old 60GB fat PS3s are the ones that can play PS2 games.

You can download some PS2 games off of PSN, but yeah, backwards compatibility is gone on all newer models.
