Bought the rare RoboCop UK steelbook.

How many times have you wasted your money on one film?

lol, lots. I remember I bought three copies of the RoboCop DVD steelbook awhile back, which I still have by the way. Planning on buying more cool editions soon, so stay tune for that.

Just bought Game of Thrones season 3, the production quality of the boxset is immense.

Probably nine. I have bought nine copies of RoboCop during my life time. And that doesn't include the sequels or the cartoon series I use to own on VHS when I was a kid. But I currently own like six copies of RoboCop as of right now.

Jesus Christ, that RoboCop case reminds me of the GOTY Edition case for Arkham City.

My RoboCop collection so far...

I rarely buy the same film twice, even if it's a different edition. The only time I'll buy a film more than once is if I wanna upgrade to Blu-Ray, or if I wanna buy a set and I already own a film or films from the set.

Well I didn't plan on buying RoboCop multiple times at first. I just wanted the best edition out there for it, since the early Blu-ray release was shit. So slowly I began to feel a bit OCD about it, and just started to get all of the really cool editions for it.

So I bought this, this past weekend.


I was going to buy Thor: The Dark World, but my OCD kicked in because I want my phase 2 to all have their damn slip covers!

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my collection being inconsistent as well. Which is why I haven't been buying Marvel movies on Blu-ray lately. Waiting until Disney releases a boxset at some point.

The disney/Marvel blu-ray boxes look hideous. They're all slim and square, while the other ones are more round. Still going to buy it though it better have its slip cover next time.

I like, but don't like boxsets. It's nice that all the films come in one, but some of those boxsets are huge.

So I finally bought Thor: The Dark World. If you buy it, buy it used. This thing costs $25 dollars and it only came with the blu-ray. No digital code, no DVD, not even a fucking slip cover. Oh yeah, NONE of the normal versions have a slip cover. Want a slip cover or the DVD or the digital code? Let me shove this 3D version down your throat while you're at it. Oh you don't accept it? Well you get this shitty square looking box with nothing good, just this okay movie. FUCK YOU for this atrocious thing you call a Blu-Ray box Marvel. $25 fucking dollars. TWENTY-FIVE! Plus tax. I should have just bought the damn thing used at my local video rental store for $10 since they would have given me the same damn thing! /rant

P.S. I expect better from you Marvel, I expect better from you.

Blame Disney, not Marvel. They do this with all of their releases. Disney has gone so cheap, that they have two disc stacked up together in the case.

@Mecha Disney, Marvel, Paramount, Universal, I don't care. It's an ugly ass box and I'm expecting better with Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Blu-Ray. The disc stacking is also done by WB, but I don't mind it since Blu-Ray's are hard to fuck up.

Wait a minute, box? What are you talking about? The cover art or something?

I'm talking about the box the blu-ray comes in. Cover art is pretty damn generic too.
