Xbox Kinect Bundles outselling Playstation Move bundles 5-1

Kinect would definitely seems more appealing if I were a parent.

Yeah Kinect is more appealing since its "new" to consumers, all my friends that are casual gamers love it. Theres is still no reason for me to get the Move, they need better software that is specifically for the Move.

Yeah, Kinect appeals more because Move seems just like the Wii, and everyone pretty much owns a Wii already.

Agreed with above posters, but sales =/= quality. I haven't tried the Move, but the Kinect is pretty lame. It has its uses for social gaming, but honestly, I'd rather do other things with my friends than crowd my living room and play shit like Dance Central.

Interesting. Sony's move marketing was just a mess and the commercials often switched to casual and hardcore so it didn't appeal to many. However the kinect was something tottaly new to the eye's of the casual audience. Microsoft really spended alot to advertise it the right way and it paid of.

Microsoft is just better at marketing then sony. (except for kevin butler lol)

This is something thats been bugging me for quite a while.

Anyways on topic, Microsoft had spend over a billion dollars to advertise Kinect.

The only thing that bugs me about Kinect is that 1 second input delay lag.

It's not 1 second. It's a tenth of a second at it's worse according to Digital Foundry.

I'm not sure it's that. It definitely had something to do with it I'm sure, but I can't see marketing being the issue. The PS3 has a higher sales per year average than the 360 (or was last time I checked - correct me if I'm wrong) so their marketing must be working. I think the main reason is the fact that people see it as a Wii rip off where as people see Kinect and they're like OMAGAWD NO CONTROLLER WTF. Not to mention Kinect seems more social than the Move.
