It doesn't look like a generic hack and slash game tho...

Compare to other hack & slash games it does. Also lets not forget that there will be other hack & slash titles in that same year, like God of War: Ascension. Now that's a game worth getting hyped for.

I'm not talking about the 60fps. In fact, I welcome it. But just because it might be in 60fps, doesn't mean I'm going to buy the game. Also why shouldn't I speak about the game? Because I'm being negative? I'm just giving my honest thoughts on the game is all. It's funny how I'm being asked not to say anything, but if it was Call of Duty or DmC no one would care.

While the game looks great on its own, i wish it was not part of the metal gear series.

It has messed up the awesome MGS 4 ending(Raiden was supposed to be a family man after MGS 4). One thing that drives me nuts is the fact riaden destroys a metal gear ray so easily. These weapos are supposed to be powerful and a major threat, yet raiden automatically becomes super man and kills the ray super easily. It is so messed up. i was like "wtf"

Well, you don't know the circumstances behind this game. He could very well be a family man, thrust into a violent lifestyle again. And didn't Raiden completely demolish those Metal Gear mechs in the fourth game? The idea is that he's this super badass now.

He stopped Arsenal Gear with his BODY in MGS 4. Arsenal Gear is this giant warship that actually houses the Metal Gear Ray's as well as been Ocelot's "Outer Heaven".

Suddenly, him killing giant mechs in a single blow doesn't seem all that unreasonable.
