I'm starting to get sick and tired of this bullshit that plagues every website on the Internet, let's say you want to get some info on some game and as you try to access the website a message pops up telling you to enter your birthday, what will happen if you accidently put a birthday that makes you a minor? Yup, you know, you won't be able to ever access the video or website unless you delete your cookies. To me this is the MOST POINTLESS THING you'll ever come across, not only you can "lie" to it and put a fake birthday, but it doesn't even let you access the website if you make the mistake I mentioned above.
So I'm warning All websites right now, here and now: If you don't drop this stupid piece of human vomit, you will be pissing off alot of your guests! It's not gonna fly, it's not gonna work and it's fucking retarded!
I tried to endure this shit ever since 2003 and it still goes on, can't these idiots see that their little "Toddler Protection Programme" doesn't fucking work?

umad Leo?
I don't like it, but I can understand WHY they do it. If the game is mature, chances are, the content on the game's site will also be mature with trailers and whatnot.
But I see your point as well.

Aren't they legally forced to do the age verification so if a parent complains how their 10 year old kid was watching a GTA IV video on rockstar.com, Rockstar can say that he put his age as 18.

I always just change the year to 1912 or something. It's pointless since anybody can just lie about it.

I just make it so my birthday is like 1972, i never put it anywhere near my real birthday. Yeah it is a pain in the ass, porn sites do it much better "ARE YOU OVER 18? CLICK YES OR NO"
Just companies covering their ass so when little jimmy gets caught by his useless-at-parenting soccer mom she cant sue.
