Sony Pictures possibly teaming up with Richard Linklater!

This would be fucking awesome! Linklater and P.T. Anderson are the two greatest filmmakers that emerged from the '90s IMO. Would love to see Linklater team-up with Hollywood and Jennifer, as he's a great fit for this type of story.

Along with Suicide Squad, BvS and Deadpool? Bring it on, 2016!!!

But seriously, I just hope 2016 doesn't turn out to be another 2015. Where we expected too much from this year. But so far, it's been a pretty average year. Like you know something isn't right when Ant-Man is your third favorite movie of the year so far.

Some of this year's films have been pushed to next year (Everybody Wants Some, Midnight Special, Demolition, etc.), and this year also has only had few movies so far with the best ones coming this fall.

2016 has films from filmmakers like Scorsese to Linklater to Xavier Dolan to the Coen brothers to Damien Chazelle to Deadpool to Suicide Squad to Joon-ho Bong, etc. 

There is a chance that those films may not be all that great, but there'd still be a ton more exciting films that have the potential to be great. And don't forget about Sundance next year, either, as it's the festival that premiered Whiplash, Fruitvale Station, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Me and Earl over the past 4 years in a row. I'm sure they'll have some surprise films next year as well. But, hey, who knows, lol.
