PlayStation 5 Likely to Happen, May or May Not be Usable

But he clarified the overall mentality at Sony PlayStation:

“Even if the form factor changes, PlayStation 5 games will be made. This is what we want.”

So there you have it.

Sony is definitely adept at making good hardware, so it would make sense for them to stick it out in the home console market until the bitter end. Full cloud gaming seems inevitable, but the question is whether or not companies and/or gamers will adapt well.

I doubt it will be, but I seriously hope it doesn't end up being cloud-based, I'm already sick of all this cloud BS.

I'm done with gaming if it turns out to be cloud-based. I want to physically OWN my shit. Seriously, all this talk about cloud and digital being the future is scary. And it almost happened with the Xbox One. Surely they are going to try again.

Hopefully the PlayStation 5 will allow me to play my audio CD's.

Hopefully the hunk of shit unlike the PS4 will be backwards compatible

I'd be fine with cloud, if it would actually work well.

Anyways, I would absolutely hate if they go digital console. I don't care if it's the future. It's a shitty future.

If it goes all cloud, I'm going the Nintendo route.

I honestly believe that one day this "console war"-esque gaming stuff will be demolished and gone for good, with a short movement towards pc gaming, and then I think there will be a whole new form of gaming that will conquer both. But who knows.
