Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, an HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will include the Zodiac job system, which was previously not available in the West. It will also offer a new trial mode, allowing players to “take on monsters and enemies in up to 100 successive battles.”
Aside from newly remastered character models and cutscenes, The Zodiac Age will include “newly recorded background music,” as well as the option to switch between the original soundtrack and the remastered soundtrack.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be playable at E3, so keep an eye out for impressions right here on IGN next week.
Rumblings about a remaster of Final Fantasy XII have been circulating for years, most recently fueled by comments from composer Arnie Roth at the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds symphonic event last year.
We recently voted Final Fantasy XII #2 on our ranking of the Final Fantasy games. If you're considering playing for the first time, be sure to read our original Final Fantasy XII review.

Coming exclusively to PS4 in 2017. Game will also be playable at E3.
Never played FF12, so I am definitely interested in this game. Heard a lot of good things from hardcore FF fans.
>Jojo and Parasyte not in the top 3 >Shitty ass Overlord at #2 >One Joke/Meme Man at #1 >No Mention of Gundam IBO, Noragami, Oregairu S2 in the top 10 >Shirobako not #1 >Fairy Tail Fail in the top 10
Horrendously shitty list. Also, Soma should be higher than 10. That show was hype as fuck lmao.
Yes, I copied from halfchin because I was too lazy to write it myself. It's definitely a rehash of Episode IV. I have a bad feeling that Episode VIII and IX will be rehashes of V and VI, but I hope not. I want something new to happen in these movies' plot-lines, not just be the same damn thing we've seen before.
Too much plot-convenience as well. I mean, Finn and Rey finding a Millenium Falcon that just happened to be in the Jakku junkyard at the right place at the right time? GTFO!!! Plus, in the fight scenes, some stuff happened just because it was the right place at the right time. This reminds me of the prequels, where literally all of them were filled with plot-convenience out-the-wazoo. I'm not saying that this constantly bugged me, but it did annoy the shit out of me in some areas of the film where I should be enjoying the badass action and fight scenes, instead.
They briefly mentioned a rise of a new Republic during the 30 year timeskip since Episode 6. And that's it, no mention of it later on in the film. What, was it destroyed with Coruscant in the film by the "new Death Star"? Was that Coruscant destroyed? I really couldn't even tell.
Oh, and the humor that J.J. Abrams threw into the film was kinda "meh". It's nowhere near the awful level of cringe that the MCU does to its films, as some parts where generally funny. But, it was kinda annoying since I don't remember any previous star wars film having this "humor" thrown into it, and it made the tone shift from "serious" to "light-hearted" too much where it felt annoying.
Finally, Kylo Ren felt like a mediocre villain. He didn't get much development or a proper backstory to really explain his situation. They just said he was Han Solo and Leia's son, who reap* his father and turned against him to join this First Order for whatever reason. He just felt like a Darth Vader wannabe, honestly. He looked a douchebag as well. Him killing Han Solo was cool as hell, though.
This Snoke guy really intrigues me. Hopefully, he's not just another Darth Sidious all over again.
Way overhyped overall, probably the most overhyped film to come out since Jurassic World. (Which is ironic since both films will probably be sitting atop the Box Office at #1 and #2 respectively when all is said and done. Oh and Jurassic World is shit, btw. I've re-watched it since it came out on Blu-ray, and I don't know why I even liked this film. It was fucking shit.)
It's still a solid movie, but no masterpiece and definitely not the best star wars movie ever.

For 2015/2016 or whenever else in the future. I'll update my list when there's more gameplay of games I am interested in (Crackdown, Scalebound, Gears of War, etc)
Faggy ass voice acting (and I didn't expect any less from a Final Fantasy game), but yeah it's at least convincing
Faggy ass looking characters, aside from the long-haired one that reminds me of Angeal.
Graphics are stunning, the environments looks phenomenal, the beasts themselves look...beastly, just need to keep our fingers crossed that the world doesn't all look randomized but actually has some good landmarks and easter eggs.
Animation looks like some of the best of all time, genuinely, there's wonderful solidity and weight yet a nice flow to the movement.
Combat looks pretty good, I'm just relieved it's real-time again. I'm just worried there'll be too many forced encounters
I just hope there's more interaction in the environment really, and an emotional story-line and generally more memorable locations. Also want to be able to drive that car in-game.
Overall this game is currently #3 on my MOST HYPED GAMES OF 2015 list, above #4: Quantum Break, beneath #2: Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain and #1: The Witcher 3
#8 Mario Party 10 #7 Starfox Wii U #6 Kirby and the Rainbow Curse #5 Mario Maker #4 Splatoon #3 Yoshi's Wooly World #2 Xenoblade Chronicles X #1 The Legend Of Zelda Wii U
