Next-Gen Halo 4 at e3 2011??

All of this fits pretty well with the 6 years console cycle. If anybody has anything else to show that i haven't written down, place 'em in the comment section below 8)

Lets hope so. There are still so many questions about the halo universe after that cliffhanger. =/ And it would make sense. I mean a next gen xbox without halo? Thats just impossible.

As much as I dislike Halo's story, I thought Halo 3 ended perfectly, with him floating in space, waiting to possibly fight another day.

Errr, I don't think a "Halo 4" is a good idea.

Halo 1-3 were supose to be a trilogy. I think there is still more to explore in the Halo universe but I don't think they should continue on the story from where MC is just floating in space after the trilogy allegedly ended from there.

Agreed. Halo is a big universe, so there are a lot of stories to tell in video game form. I always thought it would be cool if 343 or some other studio took some of the shorter stories in the Halo universe and made them single-player Reach DLC for $10-$15.

I'd rather have a full new Halo game. Using the same game engine over and over to deliver stories from the Halo universe would limit the team's creativity.

Well, 343 could focus on full Halo games and Microsoft could employ some other studio to do single-player DLC, possibly that could work for all Halo games on the 360. Microsoft has a bunch of first-party studios doing nothing, so they'd have something to do.

Also, they could eventually bundle this DLC on a disc and call it "Halo Universe Collection" or something. I think a game called "Halo Chronicles" was in the works, maybe that could be the name for it.

343 pretty much confirmed that they are going to continue Master Chiefs story after the events of Halo 3, but whether its going to be game or book or movie, we still don't know.

I still want the Halo CE remake for this year because I really want to go back to it after I the ending of Reach and it would be really great to play it with updated graphics.

What are they supposed to do after Halo 3 anyways? The Covenant and Human war is over. I'd hate to have a game with the flood as the main enemy.

I hope they do make a Halo 4, or a second trilogy.You fellas are completly wrong Halo 3 didnt end well, theres still a helluva lot of questions to bwe answered.So yes, I want a Halo 4.Maybe they will add a new faction to fight that isnt covenant or flood.That would be awesome

Seriously the Master Chief ark is done. They should do another game set during the human-forerunner war or something. The Halo storeline is huge, they don't need to keep working on Master Chief.
