Why G7 should quit bitching about comics

You're forgetting that one of those is comic book material, while the other is a book; Those are completely different adaptations.

Though, I'm kind of split about this. On one hand, I do enjoy it when it's true to the source material, but on the other hand, I also want it to have its own altertations and feel to itself, so that it's not just a comic book pasted unto the movie screen.

Which comics? The one's YOU like? Because comics aren't monolithic, there are different adaptations by different authors.

You guys still don't get it do you? I've been over this a million times already. We don't complain about inaccuracy just for the hell of it. If a director wants to make changes then fine, but why change something that you can't improve on?

Here's a example: Magneto's reason for hating humans is never truly explained in the films. A lot of non-comic books readers think it was the Holocaust that trig Magneto into hating humans, which makes no fucking sense because it was a mutant who killed his parents. In the comics, Magneto has a very very GOOD reason for hating humans. But I guess they never explained it because either the filmmakers didn't get far enough into the comics or it was just simply too dark.

There's a lot of stupid changes like this all the time. You guys just don't see it because you're not familiar with the original story like we are.

I guess if they made goku a polar bear that would be a small change

I guess Paddy was okay with Dragonball Evolution as well. After all, there was only a few minor changes to the characters.
