Good games you couldn't get into

This was what the gaming regrets thread was suppose to be, but because everyone here is illiterate the thread became a "games I bought that turned out ot be shit" thread.

Instead I want you to share games that you tried so hard to get into due to them looking so damn amazing, but simply couldn't get into.

Couldn't really get into Skyrim, tbh. Fun game to play, but I kinda fucked up my character and saved when I'm almost dead part of the way through the game, so I stopped. I tried to replay the game from scratch with a new character class, but I got bored of it. Still a good game though and I may go back and finish it sometime in the future.

Yea I couldn't get into GTA either.

I also couldn't get into Skyrim, it was a total borefest to me.

And the new Ratchet and Clank games lost their pizazz to me.

I agree. I've only ever got into one GTA game. That being said I don't consider them to be high quality games. They are each heavily flawed because none has any significant improvements over previous entries.

I feel bad because i know these games are really great and have quality and i want to enjoy them so badly but they just don't seem to match my taste.

I never understood why people let control schemes ruin a game for them. You are simply meant to adapt to whatever control scheme is given to you.

I guess it all depends on whether or not the game is even worth adapting for. I guess Twisted Metal 2 wasn't.

When Lair came out, it was a great game with atrocious sixaxis controls. Even though it is fixed now with the ability to use analogs, it was incredibly tough to play upon launch. Tough and fusturating.

Except going by all the games you listed, you don't even bother whether they are worth it or not.
