Vita outsells Wii U in Japan

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was the clear winner on the Media Create charts in Japan, moving 308,681 units on PS3. 3DS sales were down, but both models still maintained the numer one and two spots on the hardware chart. PS3 took third place with an uptick in sales, moving 18,529 units compared to 16,934 the week prior, likely this can be attributed to the release of MGR: Revengeance. Vita sales were also up over the week prior to 11,456 compared to the 8,044 units sold the prior period. It’s unclear when looking at the top 20 what caused the surge in sales, but the handheld outsold Wii U for the first time. Full charts are below.

You seem to ignore the fact that the Vita outsold the Wii U in Japan, which is the main market for both of them. It's where they're from. Think about it. Vita is portable. Wii U isn't. Which means there are more places the Japanese gamers would rather be with a Vita than with a Wii U. It's the final nail in the Nintendo coffin. Your head is too far up Nintendo's ass to read that the Vita has finally beaten its main competitor, the Wii U.
