- with a brief explanation as to why you like them
No one here can read clearly...
007 Everything Or Nothing PS2/XBOX/NGC - Had stunning visuals at the time. The gameplay was fast paced, varied and epic. Linear enough to feel like a Bond experience but open and grand enough to be very fun. Plus the driving & rapelling was great.
Mass Effect XBOX 360/PC/PS3 - Arguably more of an rpg than a shooter, but either way this game should be on everyones top 10. Sure the sequels were just straight up shooters, but this was a deep rpg experience with incredible exploration and a world you get sucked right into.
007 Nightfire PS2/NGC/XBOX - This game might not be perfect, might be far from it, however it is home to some of my favourite multiplayer maps. Great multiplayer experience.
Call Of Duty MW2 PC/360/PS3 - yeah yeah, come at me bros. Truth is, this is probably the first FPS I played to the end and actually really enjoyed. The multiplayer I played to death as well. Honestly it's just good cinematic fun. Sadly they went overboard and milked the series to death.
Turok Evolution NGC - Honestly, you can disregard the single player. The multiplayer however is one of the greatest multiplayer experiences I've ever experienced. So addictive. So bloody and messed up. And the soundtrack is to die for.
GUN NGC/PS2/XBOX/360/PC - I see this as the best Western game ever made as well as one of my favourite shooters. Seriously, the Wild West is a perfect setting for a shooting game and alongside blowing people's brains out (or scalping them) you can explore the vast, immersive environment.
GTA Liberty City Stories PSP/PS2 - Not sure if this counts or not but I am including either way because it is one of my favourite games of all time, and the shooting plays a massive part in it. I have little else to say aside the fact that it is amazing.
Red Dead Redemption 360/PS3 - Another western and yet again I do not know where to draw the line, I guess this is a sandbox action game, but hey the shooting is integral to gameplay. I prefer Gun but this game boasts a massive world and some tight gameplay mechanics...as well as a different point of the wild west era.
Halo 3 360 - I did not want to include this because I knew it would get Zeratul hard, but yeah I really love the multiplayer of Halo 3. Even if the campaign did bore me to death. That being said, ODST had a good campaign!
And number 10? I honestly don't know. There are loads that I enjoyed but never got far in like Medal of Honour Frontline, Counter Strike, Shadowrun & Doom 3.
But I will have to go with
Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC/360/PS3 - Just a powerfully realistic and intense fps. The online is incredible. Not much else to say other than that really.
