Gothem City Imposters Beta Impressions

So far, this game is very good. Its' a very solid shooter, and has enough cartoonish charm and humor to deviate away from most shooters out there. I expected this game to be a disappointment, but Monolith so far has delivered.

But being a beta, it's not without its problems

there's no mute button, so i'm stuck listening to annoying people on there mics(but at least they follow the objectives and don't camp.)

Matchmaking is painfully long and crashes occasionally

No way to change the button layout. you can change the sticks and axis, but I would like to be able to change the controls to my liking. For example, I would like to be able to set the Circle button to melee and R3 to crouch.

but so far, this game is great.

pick it up on XBLA, PSN or PC for $15!

Hmmm i'll most likely skip it due to being a first person shooter. Although i gotta give credit for its originality as a first person shooter.

I can't stomach another shooter this year. There's been so many that I've barely played the ones I got.
