Rare is Dead. Microsoft turned them into a Kinect only Developer.

Epic aren't working on Gears of War 4. 3 has a definitive ending and that story is done.

Epic have said that they are taking a break from Gears of War. And I know for sure that Microsoft doesn't own the franchise, they just have a publishing deal with Epic. It's very likely that that publishing deal is over so Gears could go multiplat depending if PS3 can handle Unreal 3.5 (Not meant to troll, the PS3 has always had problems with Unreal Engine)

Gears of War isn't owned by MS and I'd be really surprised if they somehow managed to keep it exclusive to Xbox for another generation.

The PS3 handles Unreal Engine 3.5 just fine. Just look at ME2, Enslaved, or the Batman games.

It's kind of funny, because the PS3's graphics capabilities were first showcased using the Unreal Engine. Now there is this stereotype that the PS3 can't run it properly.

If RARE develops a REAL Banjo and Kazooie this time, I will be first in line to get it.
