The changes in full:

CAREERS:

Changed Marksman's scramble ability into an active ability - The marksman scramble ability now needs to be activated and deactivated via the d-pad, and has a cooldown period.
Increased tracking response for engineer turrets - The turn speed of turrets has been increased, allowing them to track players more easily.
Increased armor for engineer turrets (30%) - Turrets can still be destroyed by a single explosion from a grenade or missile launcher.
WEAPONS:

Improved StA-2 Battle Pistol - Detonation time for the StA-2 Battle Pistol's grenade is shorter, and the damage it deals is more severe.
MAPS:

Added realtime projector to MP15 Radec Academy - A realtime projector has been added to the theater room, projecting onto the large wall with two doors.
SOUND:

Toned down overly enthusiastic death screams - Aieeeeaaargh!
MATCHES:

Increased mission points in Warzone - There is more of an incentive to go after mission objectives now.
Doubled cooldown time on mortars - Cooldown time was increased from 30 to 60 seconds to avoid spamming the Search & Destroy mission area.
Fixed tournaments not ending as soon as one clan leaves.
Fixed clans being able to rejoin games that were already finished - Clans used these exploits to boost their game wins and climb the leaderboards.
Reduced wait time at end of the round - The wait time was brought down from 60 to 45 seconds.
Reduced pre-game wait time at end of the round - The wait time was brought down from 30 to 20 seconds.
INTERFACE:

Added menu option to disable Sixaxis-only actions - Sixaxis-only actions can now be switched off in the menu, so players only have to press 'O' to start an action. This will make Killzone 3 more accessible to disabled players.
Added map name to spawn screen - The map name can be seen in the top left, under the titles.
Patch 1.12 goes live on Tuesday, 6th September.

Killzone 3 was my favorite shooter this year so far.

Mainly I like Killzone 2 better because it was more tactical. Where as in Killzone 3 it's more casual friendly. I don't play Killzone just to run and gun, I play it to help my team win. Actual team work. Also you may hate me for this, but I like the controllers in Killzone 2 better.

KZ3 has teamwork. That's exactly why I play it more than any shooter right now. In fact KZ3's new ranking system actually encourages you to assist teammates and go for objectives. No one just runs & guns in KZ3. And the controller lag in KZ2 was absolutely ridiculous. 150 ms of lag....That's hardly even playable....The average FPS game is 100 ms...And KZ3 is about 116 ms. I think they found a good balance between making the controls feel heavy and responsive at the same time. Like, I don't think KZ3 is twitchy like Halo or COD but it's definitely responsive enough.

You might prefer KZ2 more, that's fine. But don't say things that aren't true. You're trying to label KZ3 as some kind of COD clone when it's not. Besides...This thread really isn't about KZ2...It's about the upcoming patch for KZ3...And if you read it you'd know they're increasing the amount of points you get for going for the objectives in Warzone matches.

Meh I stopped playing KZ3 after 2 months of release. I don't know why but MP never interest me, not even if they are PS3 exclusives. I just get bored, the same thing happens when I play games on the 360.

I should have explained it better. I meant that it doesn't matter if it's multi-plat or exclusive, and that i just get bored with the game it self along with the multiplayer portion of it.

I would have still been playing Killzone 3 if it werent for the fact of every fucking player going a sniper and arming themselves with a shotgun, then proceeding to hide around every single corner.

Snipers can't have shotguns as a secondary. They have the option of having a shotgun pistol...But seriously that shit is so weak...2-3 shots to kill at point blank..And considering that there is only 3 shots to a clip you'll be screwed if there is more than one enemy you are trying to defend yourself from.
