I dislike both franchises because they are kinda getting dried up but my choice would definatley be Halo mainly because its FPS and Im more fond of those types of shooters were as gears is 3PS. But I'd play gears for the campaign

Definitely Halo. While Gears has a better campaign and survival mode, I can't get into the competitive multiplayer. I've been playing Halo's multiplayer since Halo 2 and it's one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever played.
