- The story follows four people - a biologist, an anthropologist, a psychologist, and a surveyor - who set out on an expedition into 'Area X,' the twelfth such expedition into the mysterious, uninhabited and abandoned area that nature has begun to reclaim. Previous expeditions have been disastrous - fraught with disappearances, suicides, aggressive cancers, and mental trauma.
"That's my day job at the moment. Early on this week, I was on a location recce. We're getting to the point where you're thinking about the practicalities. If we manage to get that going, it would be shooting in, I think, April of next year. So we'd go in to prep in January and shoot in April." Ex Machina is still my favorite film of the year right now, so I'm stoked about his follow-up. :)

You know, it's really funny that you thought AoU would be the best A.I movie, and I thought Chappie would be, but then it was fucking Ex Machina that was the best one this year, lol. Who would've thought?

| @RamboOnRedBull I don't recall saying Age of Ultron was going to be the best A.I. movie this year? But it was the one I was looking forward to the most. Mainly because Ultron is one of my favorite Marvel villains. But they made him into a complete joke in that movie. Ultron should have been more like the Sentinels from X-Men: Days of Future, and maybe then it would have been the best A.I. movie this year. | |
