I don't get the hate that this film has been getting. It seems like most of the hate is just unfounded and because it's a Marvel film from Fox. It feels like butthurt that Fox didn't trade Surfer and Big G for DD when Marvel wanted.

@RamboOnRedBull We're talking about Marvel fanboys. If they think Fantastic 4 looks mediocre, then okay. But what makes Marvel Studios films look any better? Just seems like Marvel fanboys love stroking their dicks at anything that has the Marvel Studios logo in the opening credits. Would be funny if Fantastic Four got a higher rating than Ant-Man and The Avengers: Age of Ultron on RT.

I will say this though, I hate how they changed Doctor Doom's origins AGAIN. Why do they keep making him into a typical scientist that's gone bad after a horrific incident? He's suppose to be a very powerful sorcerer with a tragic back story.

Where do you guys think this will land critically? I'm guessing it will land in the 60 - 70's range. I'd like the film to be great, but honestly, I think it'll end up being average.

@yonny616 It's really really hard to tell. I can see it go both ways really. I'll say this though, it will probably be as good as most movies from Marvel Studios. But it will probably still get hate, just because it isn't from Marvel Studios. Like The Amazing Spider-Man for example, that movie is on it's 70s just like Ant-Man and The Avengers: Age of Ultron. But those movies get an easy pass, but The Amazing Spider-Man doesn't.
